Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh dropped some pretty big news this week about presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
During a segment on his program, Limbaugh told his listeners that top-level officials in the Democrat party know it’s time for the inevitable.
“They know that Joe Biden has got to go,” Limbaugh said.
“Biden is somebody that’s not gonna be on the ticket anyway,” Limbaugh predicted, suggesting he’s been told some pretty “wild” stuff in recent weeks.
“Something’s gonna happen. They can’t possibly, they can’t possibly go into the race with the guy on the ticket. He couldn’t withstand one debate with Trump if there were any debates,” he added.
Rush went on to say that he has an “instinctive feeling” that Biden’s campaign may soon disappear courtesy of “the highest levels of the Democrat National Committee.”
“I mean, this is my instinctive feeling about it, but the Democrats are all tied in knots and pretzels here because of the #MeToo movement, and it’s fascinating to watch the media wring their hands about it,” he said.
Rush then slammed the media and DNC for covering for Biden after he was accused of sexual assault when they have invested in the #MeToo movement in recent years to go after Republicans.
“They’ve gotten caught on” #MeToo hypocrisy, Limbaugh continued. “Now they’ve got the exact kind of allegation that [Supreme Court Justice Brett] Kavanaugh was hit with except this one is even more believable. … So they’re faced with a hard, cold reality on the Democrat side, and that is they have to find a way to get him off the ticket. But he’s got the delegates. So how do they do this?”
Rush was referring to Tara Reade, who recently came forward and alleged that Biden sexually assaulted her around 1993 while she worked for him when he was serving in the U.S. Senate.
Biden, for his part, has staunchly denied the allegations. But they are not going away anytime soon.
Last month, journalist Katie Harper released an audio clip of an interview with Tara Reade, a former staff assistant to Joe Biden, in which Reade claims that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993.
Reade begins by detailing how she was instructed to rush a gym bag to Biden at the time. Upon reaching then-Senator Biden with the bag, Reade claims that he greeted her by name, and proceeded to sexually assault her in a “side area.”
“We were alone, and it was the strangest thing. There was no, like, exchange really, he just had me up against the wall,” Reade claims.
“His hands were on me, and underneath my clothes,” Reade later says. “He went down my skirt, but then up inside. He penetrated me with his fingers.”
Reade alleges that Biden was kissing her and asking her if she “wanted to go somewhere else,” and that after the alleged assault was complete, he said, “C’mon man, I heard you liked me.”
Last Thursday, Reade said she is willing to testify under oath about her allegations.
Fox News host Greg Gutfeld also went viral last week when he analyzed an interview from Biden and speculated that the former VP seemingly confessed to sexual assault.
