A retired Border Patrol agent has seen enough of the ongoing chaos at the southwestern border in the age of Joe Biden, and he’s made a political decision.

Former CBP officer Rosa Arellano told “Fox & Friends” on Monday that Biden’s policies have made a mess of border security and immigration enforcement compared to when President Donald Trump was in office.

As such, she’s set to abandon Biden’s Democratic Party, most of whom support his virtual open-border policies.

“[Trump] was the first president in a long time that I recall actually came down to the border,” Arellano told the morning show.

“When he came down, and he spoke to the subject-matter experts of Border Patrol and us, the CBP officers, he listened to us,” said the retired agent, who lives in Texas along the border.

“He listened to us letting him know that we needed a multi-layer solution to this situation. And we mentioned that we needed physical barriers, strategic locations, we needed better infrastructure, we needed more boots on the ground, and better technology. He listened to us, and he pointed it out to the country,” she added.

She also accused Democrats complaining about illegal migrants being sent to blue cities and enclaves of “pure hypocrisy” since they have frequently supported ‘sanctuary’ policies shielding migrants from federal immigration enforcement agencies.

“If they come down and they check out what’s going on, they would be baffled. We have our small border town which is just about 30,000-35,000. It’s ridiculous that we’re getting illegals entering our area at a rate of about a thousand a day.”

Besides Arellano, Hispanics — a traditional Democrat constituency — are also leaving the party in droves, especially those living along the chaotic border.

Paola Ramos, the daughter of reporter Jorge Ramos and an MSNBC contributor, said that Latinas are abandoning the Democrat Party when she appeared on the MSNBC show “Morning Joe” on Friday, Mediaite reported.

“The larger picture is that Latinas have been sending a message for the last four years,” she said.

She said that former President “Donald Trump won seven of the 14 countries along the U.S. Mexico border, right, and he was able to flip two of those and he made significant end roads in places like the Rio Grande Valley.”

She talked about Rep. Mayra Flores’ victory in the special in June and warned that there are “three Latina Republicans in South Texas that are running for office that are completely transforming the dynamics of politics in Texas.”

“We’re not trying to say that Republicans are winning the national Latino vote,” she said. “We’re saying Democrats are losing it. The Latinos are sending a message, and we need to listen.”

She added “that immigration has truly never been a top issue for Latinos.”

“I think that’s the myth. The myth is if you talk about migrants, you know, if you show these stories, then Latinas will vote for you. That’s not true. Latinas care about economy, they care about crime, they care about jobs, they care about education. That’s it. They wanted to be talked to and spoken to the same way that Democrats would go out for any other vote,” Ramos continued.

“I think it’s a matter of at least if you’re looking at this story of Mayra Flores, at least matching that, you know, at least spending the resources, at least showing up and listening. And I think that’s the story here. Latinas … they’re sending a message. They’re drifting away, they’re walking away from the Democratic Party,” she said.

In June, Flores became the first elected Republican in 150 years in her district, flipped a blue seat red in a deep blue border enclave of the Lone Star State.

In her victory tonight, Republican @MayraFlores2022 flipped 85% Hispanic Cameron County in Texas. Hillary Clinton won Cameron by 33 points in 2016 and Biden won it by 13. The Hispanic shift to the GOP is the most important story in American politics today,” noted PR specialist Giancarlo Sopo.
