In a troubling Op-Ed printed in Politico on August 30th, Alex Soros, son of international far-leftist radical super-donor George Soros, a man equally as radical as his father, set out the plan for the expansive network of so-called ‘non-profit’ organizations at his family’s command to manipulate the outcome of the 2024 election.

In his Politico piece refuting rumors that the Open Society Foundations (OSF), the primary engine of his father’s international political machinations is abandoning Europe, the younger Soros wrote that the organization and its many associated entities are retooling “the way it works globally, we are shifting our priorities in Europe accordingly.”

He described the move as one shifting the focus of funding “back to the Continent’s east,” but also emphasizes increased engagement here in the United States.

He wrote, “We will not be abandoning allies who stand up for democratic rights in the face of autocrats and would-be dictators — neither in Europe nor the rest of the world. But we need to be ready and able to respond to an uncertain and dangerous future.”

Only to immediately address the U.S. and the candidacy of former President Donald J. Trump. This rhetorically suggests that he could see Trump as such an ‘autocrat’ or ‘would-be dictator’ and that the ‘uncertain and dangerous future,’ he referred to is a future with Trump in the White House again.

He continued: “As someone who spends up to half their time working on the Continent and thinks former United States President Donald Trump — or at least someone with his isolationist and anti-European policies — will be the Republican nominee, I believe a MAGA-style Republican victory in next year’s U.S. presidential election could, in the end, be worse for the EU than for the U.S. Such an outcome will imperil European unity and undermine the progress achieved on many fronts in response to the war in Ukraine. We are adapting OSF to be able to respond to whatever scenarios might emerge, on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Commentator Charlie Kirk did not miss the distinctly anti-Trump implications of Soros’ words.

He wrote, “George Soros’ son, Alex Soros, just wrote in Politico that Open Societies Foundations will shift its focus to defeating Trump in 2024. Why? He says a MAGA-style Republican victory “could, in the end, be worse for the EU than for the U.S… and undermine the progress achieved on many fronts in response to the war in Ukraine.” Trump has promised to stop the killing and end the war. I guess to the globalist crowd peace in Eastern Europe is bad for “progress.” You do the math.”

Paul Joseph Watson, posting to X (formerly Twitter) likewise observed, “Alex Soros, son of arch-globalist Open Society founder George Soros writes in an op-ed that he is worried that another Trump victory, or “MAGA style” victory in a U.S. election will endanger the “unity” of globalists in Europe.”

Acclaimed journalist Glenn Greenwald, late of The Intercept, shared the Op-Ed with the caption, “George Soros‘ son, Alex, issues a manifesto on his foreign policy. That some heir gets billions he didn’t earn, then uses it to shape the internal politics of multiple nations — including the US — reveals numerous, radical societal pathologies”

Two days after the publication of his Op-Ed Alex Soros, in what likely was not an idle move, shared Erica Orden’s report which forwards the highly disturbing radical legal theory that Trump can be removed from the 2024 ballot without due process.

He asked his followers, “The 14th Amendment theory that could define 2024: Is Trump eligible to run? ”

Kyle Becker, writing for Trending Politics reminded readers that Soros’ foundations were knee-deep in the 2004 Orange Revolution that eventually led to the ouster of the pro-Russian Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in favor of the pro-NATO Viktor Yushchenko though he faced serious corruption allegations.

He further noted that the Soros-funded International Renaissance Foundation among others played a role in the “fortifying” of Ukraine’s 2004 election, a phrase that hearkens back to efforts by big tech and radical leftist groups to similarly ‘fortify’ the 2020 election here in the U.S. according to Time.

Soros seems to be indicating that the 2024 American election could see similar efforts from the same foundations, now under his leadership.
