Chris Magnus, the former commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, resign a few months ago after allegedly being “pushed out.”

Reports suggested that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and others forced him out and attempted to blame him for many of the failures at the southern border. Since then, Magnus has taken several not-so-subtle digs online about the ongoing immigration crisis and wasted little time slamming the Biden administration.

“Susan Rice, Kristjen Nielsen,” he wrote recently on a story about migrant children being put to work and how the Biden administration “ignored warnings.”

“Over the past two years, more than 250,000 migrant children have come alone to the United States. Thousands of children have ended up in punishing jobs across the country — working overnight in slaughterhouses, replacing roofs, operating machinery in factories — all in violation of child labor laws, a recent Times investigation showed. After the article’s publication in February, the White House announced policy changes and a crackdown on companies that hire children,” the article stated.

He issued similar tweets in March about the border crisis.

“Sadly–right on point,” Magnus tweeted in response to an LA Times article that detailed how President Biden’s administration is proposing a new plan similar to one enacted by the Trump administration, which essentially argued that people who cross the border without permission should not be able to easily apply for asylum in the United States.

Democrats have presented the idea that Biden is sending troops to the border as proof that he is getting tough on immigration.

But if you listen to the president himself in his interview with MSNBC last week, he has no intention of those troops preventing any migrants from crossing the border.

“We are in a situation where 1500 people at the border, they’re not there to enforce the law, they’re there to free up the border agents that need to be on the border and we’re having another thousand people coming in, they are asylum judges to make judges, to move things along. I’ve asked this Congress for help in terms of what they need at the border. They need more agents, they need more people to clear people,” he said.

And when Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson appeared on Fox News he explained that what the president is doing is actually going to assist more migrants to get into the United States.

“Instead of addressing the problem, they’re sending people down there to help with the processing so we can get more people into the country. I think this works hand in hand with what they’ve been doing all along. Don’t think for a minute this is not intentional. The Democrats had control of the Senate, the House and the White House for two years. They could have done it on their own terms. They didn’t do anything,” he said on “Fox & Friends Sunday” to host Rachel Campos-Duffy.

“The reason they didn’t is because this is intentional. This is the progressives, the far left, driving this process. Having 1500 troops down there to help with the administrative burden and a bunch of extra judges down there so they can look at these asylum seekers, at their cases, and then get them into the country. That’s what’s going to happen. We’re going to have just a ton of people that are going to get access to the country as a result of all of this, and it’s got to stop,” the Congressman said.

“Or he just wants us to not look there. The processing is about moving people through, getting them out of the way, not having a situation like the Haitians under the bridge that might actually bring the, you know, the left-wing media in to finally have to cover it,” the host said.

“We’ve been talking to some of the people who live along the border. The level of helplessness and hopelessness is just through the roof as title 42 comes to expiring as we see these – expire, as we see these shootings, do they involve cartel members coming across because we know that’s a huge problem. Has been you do and what can the state of Texas do if the administration, as you said, is clearly this is intentional, they want this to happen?” she said.
