Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is not going to be intimidated by anyone, which is a lesson that was learned by New York Democrat Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman.

A confrontation between the three happened on Thursday when New York Republican Rep. George Santos was holding a press conference after he narrowly avoided being removed from the House, The Washington Examiner reported.

The House voted 221-204 to refer the matter of Santos’s expulsion to the Ethics Committee for a thorough investigation on Wednesday, a week after Santos was charged and pleaded not guilty to a 13-count criminal indictment from the Justice Department.

Santos left the gaggle of reporters, saying, “Have a great day.” Bowman shouted at him as he left.

Following the vote, Bowman also had a heated exchange with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who has stood by Santos throughout his ordeal.

“Expel him. Save the party. Your party’s hanging by a thread!” Bowman said.

“We gotta get rid of Biden. Save the country!” Greene said.

“You’re party’s hanging by a thread!” Bowman shouted back.

“Impeach Biden. Impeach Biden! Impeach Biden!” Greene snapped back.

“You gotta save the party. Listen, no more Q-Anon, no more MAGA,” Bowman shouted.

“No more CNN,” Greene yelled.

“No more debt ceiling nonsense. Come on, now!” Bowman yelled back.

That was when Rep. Ocasio-Cortez stepped in.

“She ain’t worth it, bro,” she said.

“Save the party!” Bowman shouted to Greene before Ocasio-Cortez stepped in again.

“She ain’t worth it, bro. She ain’t worth it,” she said.

But it was a busy day for Rep. Greene who introduced Articles of Impeachment against Joe Biden.

She made her intentions known at a press conference on Thursday where she used similar language to the Democrats when they impeachment former President Donald Trump.

“It is with the highest amount of solemnity that I announce my intention to introduce articles of impeachment today on the head of this America-last executive branch, that has been working since Jan. 20, 2021, to systematically destroy this country, the president of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden,” she said.

This story is still developing, but this is not the only impeachment news against the administration this week.

A leading Republican lawmaker in the House is done waiting for his party to initiate impeachment proceedings against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as human and drug smuggling along the U.S.-Mexico border surges again.

On Friday, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) called for Mayorkas to be impeached, claiming his “failure to act” as the chief border official necessitates his removal while calling upon Congress to take action.

In an interview with Breitbart News in his Capitol Hill office, Emmer said since Mayorkas won’t resign voluntarily, “he should be impeached.”

Emmer discussed the contentious issue of impeachment, going on to say that the overwhelmed southern border stands as a prime example of what he deems as the “greatest malfeasance” by President Joe Biden’s top border official.

“They talk about being humane. Children are disappearing. People are getting killed,” Emmer said. “You’ve got 80 people that have come across the southern border that are on the terrorist watch list.”

Emmer’s remarks followed Biden’s decision to lift the Title 42 border barrier, a policy that former President Donald Trump implemented under the pretext of addressing the coronavirus pandemic. Title 42 had served as one of the last remaining tools for border officials to attempt to manage the influx of illegal migration at the border.

Before Thursday, according to federal data, U.S. border officials had encountered more than five million illegal migrants since Biden took office and reversed most of Trump’s immigration and border security policies on his first day.
