Firebrand Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene went hardcore as the U.S. attorney for Washington D.C. was testifying before Congress.
During the testimony of U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves the representative announce that she had introduced Articles Of Impeachment against him.
Mr. Graves, you are the US Attorney for the District of Columbia. You have the unique ability to prosecute both local and federal cases,” the representative said. “However, Mr. Graves, your office has declined to prosecute 67 percent of those arrested in 2022. Which means they can’t stay in jail like Chief Contee is demanding after his police officers do the hard work of arresting these criminals.”
“Instead, you are solely focused on prosecuting January 6th cases from one single day in our history,” she said. “Meanwhile, D.C. crime is up. Total crime is up 27 percent from last year. Carjacking, up 114 percent. Murders, up 11 percent. Sexual abuse, 45 percent. Property crime is up 30 percent. And just yesterday morning, a little innocent twelve-year-old girl was shot while sleeping in her own bed by another rampant, violent criminal who has probably been previously arrested and prosecuted.”
“Mr. Graves, your decision not to prosecute 67 percent of the crimes is absolutely criminal itself. People who were charged for murder have been arrested on average eleven times before because you refused to keep them in jail like Chief Contee is demanding,” the representative said.
“You have already abused your position by maliciously prosecuting at least one thousand people from January 6th, but you recently announced that you’re going to arrest at least one thousand more,” she said.
“The time for weaponizing the Department of Justice needs to come to an end,” she said before she dropped the hammer on him.
“Because you refuse to prosecute real criminals that are violating all the crimes here in Washington, D.C. … I am introducing articles of impeachment on you, Mr. Graves,” she said.
And she was not done with her Articles of impeachment for the day as she went on Twitter and announced another impeachment against another official in President Joe Biden’s administration.
“I just introduced articles of impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray. Under his watch, the FBI has intimidated, harassed, & entrapped Americans who have been deemed enemies of the Biden regime. Wray has turned the FBI into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force. Christopher Wray needs to be impeached,” she said on Twitter.

The representative issued a press release from her office on the impeachment of Graves.
“Today, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is introducing Articles of Impeachment against U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves,” she said.
“Matthew Graves was appointed to be the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia on July 26, 2021 and he assumed office on November 5, 2021,” the representative said before saying some of the things she said to Graves himself.
“Graves has prosecuted hundreds of individuals who participated in a political protest and has sought lengthy pretrial detention, even for nonviolent defendants. His cruel and unusual tactics have driven innocent people, arrested on phony charges, to suicide, including Matthew Perna,” the representative said.
“Graves is systematically criminalizing political dissent at the behest of his handlers in the White House. By focusing so much effort on the persecution of political prisoners, Graves has diminished the manpower needed to fight crime not just in DC, but all over the country. DOJ attorneys have been transferred to DC just to help Graves wage his war against political opponents,” she said.
“His wife, Fatima Goss Graves, is the CEO of the National Women’s Legal Center. She is using her 100-million-dollar business to run a pressure campaign against Justice Clarence Thomas. Matthew Graves and his wife are clearly partisan hacks with no respect for the justice system or the rule of law.
“With a total dereliction of duty as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves must be impeached,” she said.
