“War Room” podcaster Steve Bannon, a former top political strategist for then-President Donald Trump, has shared some head-turning information regarding his former boss and his 2024 campaign heading into next year.

During a recent podcast segment, Bannon predicted that Trump would be in engaged in “nothing but a war” ahead of the general election and that additional “political warfare” would then take place in the years afterward.

“Get Prepared, we got a fight ahead of us,” Bannon said. “There’s still the primary, the RNC and the donors are gonna try and [block] Trump, so we gotta get through that. The general election and I don’t have to believe Biden will be the nominee, I think they’ll trade him out, but we’ve got nothing but a war in the general election. We’ve got six to eight years ahead of us of absolute political warfare.”

The former strategist also laid into House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), as well as Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and James Comer (R-Ky.) for passing spending bills that don’t really benefit Republicans in any way.

“Answer the question. Why have you not done anything in the first nine months? You’ve been called out on this. And number one — all of these ideas you’re — you want a clean CR? A clean CR would basically mean that Nancy Pelosi has had another year, a bonus year, she did such a great job, a bonus year. You’re spitting in the face of this audience,” Bannon said to begin the segment.

“You lied when you cut the deal, on the debt deal. You lied to people. And you’re trying to put shiny toys — I’m going to add the terrific border — we’ve got enough laws. Yes, the border thing, it’s great. It’s gonna be more — but we have enough laws. It’s the execution and implementation of those laws, and they’re laughing in your face,” he noted further.

“You’re doing nothing. You’re doing nothing about the woke and weaponized. You’re doing nothing about the ceding of our sovereignty to these international organizations. Nothing is getting done. Nothing. It’s all performative. Including Comer and Jordan. You’re weak and sad,” he added.

“This is heartbreaking. And Kevin McCarthy lies. They came — that’s a bald-faced lie. This is tepidly what McCarthy does. You see how weak he is? You see that? Well, it’s not really impeachment, we’re just going to ask a few questions. Stand up and be a man. Own the room. Step in there,” Bannon concluded.

Meanwhile, Trump not only continues to gain on his 2020 rival, President Joe Biden, but he has surprisingly taken the lead in new polling that has shocked many political observers and the typical Biden-friendly media.

For example, an ABC News/Washington Post poll released earlier this week saw Trump with a nearly 10-point lead over Biden, 51-42 percent, with the president’s overall performance ratings extremely poor.

An NBC News poll, meanwhile, found Biden’s disapproval rating at 56 percent, one of the highest of his presidency, while 44 percent of respondents said they are worse off now under Biden than before. That is the highest percentage since 1986, under then-President Ronald Reagan.

“A majority of voters polled in the Post-ABC poll felt the economy; prices of food, energy and gas; the unemployment rate; and average wages were all either ‘poor’ or ‘not so good,’” Axios reported.

“91% agreed the cost of food was a negative. 87% felt the same about gas and energy prices,” the report continued. “74% are concerned about the state of the U.S. economy, and 75% about wages.”

In a survey analysis, ABC News’ Gary Langer noted: “A variety of factors may be at play. Biden’s poor performance ratings, the extent of economic discontent, the immigration crisis and doubts about his age clearly are relevant.”

He added: “All have been the subject of extensive recent news coverage, focusing public discourse on negatives for the president.”
