Claudia Conway, the 18-year-0old daughter of former President Donald Trump’s friend and former advisor Kellyanne Conway, is posing for Playboy.

And after intense backlash from critics the teenager is hitting back at those who believe she has made a mistake.

Claudia Conway, who spent years using her social media to attack President Trump and Republicans despite her mother (Kellyanne) working for Trump for some time — launched a subscription page on Playboy.com. She shared images of herself posing in bikinis, which are accessible on the page, while other images of her require payments ranging from $5 to $99 to view.

Claudia spoke about her decision this week by releasing a statement saying: “The only comment i’ll provide:  when i was 15-16, i was exploited by the media, preyed upon, and was forced into portraying myself as something i wasn’t. my body was taken from me. now, as a young adult, i am aiming to reclaim my womanhood and femininity in a way that is truly mine. i am putting myself out there in a way that is MY OWN and no one else’s. i have full control of my body and my voice. i believe in writing your own narrative, like i’ve said in the past, and taking back what was once unjustly taken from you. autonomy and freedom are two things everyone should have. don’t let someone capitalize off of your vulnerabilities— reclaim them.”

Her post was met with an array of responses, with one of the more popular comments mocking her.

A Twitter user responded by writing that she was “owning the media who tried to turn you into a circus sideshow by turning yourself into a circus sideshow. This outcome is *exactly* what they wanted!”

The 18-year-old was in the headlines in March when she spoke about her parents announcing their divorce.

“For those asking how i am, i’m slaying per usual,” she tweeted.

“Also why does the media love to tear women down … all these journalists hatefully commenting on another woman’s marriage are either divorced, will be single forever, or haven’t met their husband’s secretary yet,” she added.

Claudia also responded to a Twitter user who asked her how she felt about the fact that her folks were going their separate ways.

“I think everyone banks on having that picture-perfect ‘nuclear family’ but families come in all different structures so to put it simply, i love both of my parents and am excited for the new chapters of their lives that they are stepping into,” she said.

The couple released a statement earlier this month after news of their pending divorce was reported.

“We married more than two decades ago, cherish the many happy years (and four corgis) we’ve shared, and above all else, our four incredible children, who remain the heartbeat of our family and our top priority,” the couple said.

“We remain united as parents to provide love, joy, comfort and protection to our beautiful children,” it added.

There had been a growing conflict between Kellyanne and George, the latter of whom has long been a vocal critic of Trump and tormented him throughout his presidency, helping to found the anti-Trump Lincoln Project that is now defunct and was itself a center of controversy.

Kellyanne has previously pointed to her husband’s public statements opposing Trump, which occurred while she was working for the president, as a significant factor in the deterioration of their marriage.

“Beltway insiders tell us that they’ve both lawyered up and that the two sides are hashing out the details of the split,” according to Page Six.

In 2016, Kellyanne Conway initially acted as an advisor to candidate Trump during the elections before taking on the role of campaign manager.

In 2022, Vanity Fair noted, “One of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century is the marriage of Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George — specifically, if they hate each other as much as their public commentary would suggest, or if the whole thing is some kind of three-dimensional chess designed to further their own interests.”
