A pro-life activist in Pennsylvania was the subject of an early morning raid on Friday by an FBI SWAT team, according to a report.
LifeSiteNews reported that between 25 and 30 agents arrested pro-life activist Mark Houck at his home in Bucks County, according to an account given to LifeSiteNews by the family.
Mark leads a non-profit organization, The King’s Men, and he is involved in providing sidewalk counseling outside abortion clinics in Philadelphia. The outlet indicated that the arrest is related to a case that was dismissed by a federal court in the city but was nevertheless picked up by Joe Biden’s Justice Department, according to the family.
“The kids were all just screaming,” Houck’s wife, Ryan-Marie, told LifeSiteNews. “It was all just very scary and traumatic.”
The couple explained that the SWAT team surrounded their home, weapons held at the ready, and pounded on the door shortly after 7 a.m.
Mark Houck reportedly tried to calm the agents down, but they continued to yell for him to open the door even after he tried to explain that there were several small children in the home, the report continued.
“Our staircase is open, so [the kids] were all at the top of the stairs which faces the front door, and I was on the stairs as well, coming down,” his homeschooling wife, Ryan-Marie, said.
Upon inquiring as to why agents were at their home, one of them said they were on-scene to arrest Mark. When his wife asked to see a warrant, “they said that they were going to take him whether they had a warrant or not.”
She protested, however, saying it was tantamount to kidnapping. “You can’t just come to a person’s house and kidnap them at gunpoint,” she said. At that, an agent retrieved a warrant from a vehicle and presented it.

The raid is not likely to quell growing concerns among conservatives that the FBI and Justice Department under President Joe Biden have become highly politicized.

In fact, several FBI whistleblowers have intimated as much in statements provided to some Republican lawmakers including Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.
According to Jordan, the leading Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, one bureau insider told him recently that the FBI is “rotted at its core” with overt politicization against conservatives and conservative organizations.
Jordan outlined the new claims in a scorching letter to FBI Director Chris Wray over allegations that the bureau is mostly targeting conservative groups and individuals including one that is led by a veteran, The Daily Wire reported.
Jordan, in his letter, accused the FBI of classifying those groups and individuals as extremists and domestic threats to advance a left-wing narrative.
The outlet noted further:
Jordan began by noting that as far back as July 27 he had written to Wray about “whistleblower disclosures that FBI officials were pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violence extremism’” even if the cases did not meet the criteria to be classified as such, and said that Wray had refused to respond.
He pointed out that a whistleblower had revealed the FBI, in its “Domestic Terrorism Symbols Guide” on “Militia Violent Extremists” included symbols such as “2A,” the “Betsy Ross Flag” and the “Gadsden Flag” as extreme symbols.
Jordan then turned to the FBI “characterization” of the group American Contingency — which was founded by former U.S service member Mike Glover — as a domestic violent extremist group. Citing a whistleblower, Jordan said that the FBI investigated Glover’s life by perusing his military records, veteran’s disability rating, and monthly disability benefit. According to documents provided to Jordan, the FBI found in 2020 that Glover’s group only “desires to assist Americans in preparing themselves for catastrophic events and not to overthrow the United States Government.”
“This whistleblower information suggests that the FBI opened an investigation into an American citizen — and deemed him a potential ‘threat’ — simply because he exercised his First Amendment right to speak out in protest of the government,” Jordan said. “It seems clear that this is an instance where an FBI employee reported something because it didn’t align with their own Woke ideology. I think this is a primary example of how woke and corrupt the FBI has become.”
