Nicolle Wallace of MSNBC’s Deadline: White House started the second hour of her show reporting that Special Counsel Jack Smith is seeking what he called a “narrow” gag order against former President Donald J. Trump and expressing alarm that the American people are pushing back against the persecution of the 2024 GOP Frontrunner and the policies of the Biden administration.

As reported by Mediaite, Wallace warned, “Something really bad is going to happen. Like shit’s about to hit the fan in this country.”

She continued, “Fox News had to veer away from a lunatic spewing hatred and death threats for Democratic officials in New York because of the migrant caucus.” Referring to a rightfully angry protestor who spoke with Fox’s Alexis McAdams Friday during protests in New York City.

The man Wallace referred to as a “lunatic” told Alexis: “We can’t afford to pay 300,000-400,000 people everything for free. I have kids. I have to spend hundreds of dollars to get their school supplies. They’re coming here, not vaccinated. We just had a Covid crisis. They shut our businesses down! They fired teachers, the Fire Department for not getting vaccinated.”

He added, “This is up to us, it’s up to each and every one of us. Nobody’s coming here for us … We’re here for ourselves. If we don’t get up and fight for our city, nobody’s coming for us. They’re coming and destroying. The reason why they’re here is to steal our votes,” the protester said. “We’re not going to be able to live. They’re stealing our votes. Our kid’s future, my birthright, our United States. This great city that I refuse to leave. Do you understand? Nobody’s coming for us! These elected officials aren’t even elected. They’re using absentee ballots. They’re being selected!”

Asking about the now-infamous press conference by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other Democrat lawmakers the man responded angrily, “They will never be allowed to walk down the streets again! They have destroyed our city. New York, especially Queens, has woken up. Faulkner interrupted from the studio telling her producers, “Alright let’s pull away from this.”

Wallace called the man a “lunatic,” whereas most conservatives would say that he’s aware of the situation and justifiably angry.

She continued saying, “Everyone is on, I don’t even know the word, everyone is, knows that we’re walking into something hideous and no one will do anything. I refuse to believe that nothing can be done. These are people getting their information, in part because of the vacuum being created by people with…I don’t even know if we call it a spine anymore.”

She seemed to suggest that the people in New York and Trump’s followers are somehow misinformed about the realities they are facing daily.

Both Wallace and her guest Charlie Sykes host of the Bulwark Podcast continued seemingly trying to justify placing a very aggressive gag order on President Donald Trump by using the righteous anger of the New York protesters as an example of “all of the red lights” “blinking about what is about to happen,” as Sykes described it.

According to Politico Smith’s prosecutors claim in their filing: “The defendant’s past conduct, including conduct that has taken place after and as a direct result of the indictment in this case, amply demonstrates the need for this order.”

Sykes then forwarded a groundless, thoroughly debunked claim that “This is a former president of the United States who is prepared to call out the furies, who is prepared to stoke violence, to tell people to come because it will be wild,” despite evidence of Trump saying at one point to his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” protest at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

While Wallace may be right that “shit’s about to hit the fan,” the notion that it will be at the urging or direction of former President Trump appears to have no basis in fact or reality.

If any such outbreak of violence is to occur, history has shown as in the 2016 Inauguration riot and the  George Floyd/BLM riots of Summer 2021, that this will come when the radical left rejects the results of the 2024 Presidential election or the next acquittal of Trump.
