Former President Donald Trump is back on the campaign trail and making noise, much to the chagrin of those who are against him.

Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green said she spoke to the former president after his South Carolina and New Hampshire events on Saturday night and he is raring to go.

“I spoke with President @realDonaldTrump today in between his two big events in New Hampshire and South Carolina. He sounds amazing! He is fired up!  He loves this country!! He is going to win!!! And the GREAT PEOPLE ARE WITH HIM! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” she said on her TruthSocial account.

The president told the New Hampshire audience he was angrier than he ever has been.

“This is it,” he said to members of the New Hampshire Republican Party at their annual meeting in Salem, CNN reported. “We’re starting right here as a candidate for president.”

“They said, ‘He’s not doing rallies, maybe he’s lost that step.’ I’m more angry now and I’m more committed now than I ever was,” he said.

When he got to South Carolina he spoke alongside the state’s Gov. Henry McMaster and Senator Lindsey Graham.

“We need a fighter who can stand up to the Left, can stand up to the swamp, stand up to the media, stand up to the deep state, am I allowed to say, ‘stand up to the RINOs’ too? I think we can say that,” he said.

On his way to South Carolina he also spoke about the possibility of Nikki Haley campaigning against him and said that he told her she should do it.

“I talked to her for a little while, I said, ‘Look, you know, go by your heart if you want to run,’” he said. “She’s publicly said that ‘I would never run against my president, he was a great president.’”

But Haley spoke to Fox News and appeared to take a swipe at Trump and President Joe Biden.

“It’s bigger than one person. And when you’re looking at the future of America, I think it’s time for new generational change. I don’t think you need to be 80 years old to go be a leader in D.C.,” she said. “I think we need a young generation to come in, step up, and really start fixing things.”

She said that she made the comments about supporting Trump in 2024 “before we surrendered to Afghanistan, it was before we saw this high inflation and high crime, it was before we saw drugs infesting all of our states, it was before we saw our foreign policy in disarray, so a lot has changed.”

“And when I look at that, I look at the fact if I’m this passionate and I’m this determined, why not me?” she said.

As for Greene, her name continues to surface as a top choice to become Trump’s running mate.

“War Room” podcast host Steve Bannon said in an interview last week with NBC News: “This is no shrinking violet, she’s ambitious — she’s not shy about that, nor should she be. … She sees herself on the shortlist for Trump’s VP.”

When Greene “looks in the mirror, she sees a potential president smiling back,” Bannon noted further.

NBC News noted further:

A second source who has advised Greene said her “whole vision is to be vice president.” The source, who has ties to Trump but spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations, said he also believes Greene would be on Trump’s short list.

That goal is at the heart of Greene’s recent efforts to rebrand herself as a politician who can stand astride the divide between the party’s hard-liners and its establishment wing, the sources told NBC News.

“She’s both strategic and disciplined — she made a power move, knowing it would run up hard against her most ardent crew,” Bannon added. “She was prepared to take the intense heat/hatred short-term for the long-term goal of being a player.”
