Stephen Miller, a former top adviser to then-President Donald Trump, sounded an alarm of sorts during an interview on Friday with Fox News host Jesse Watters.

Miller said he believes it has become patently obvious that the Biden administration is trying to put the current president’s chief political rival and biggest Oval Office challenger “in jail for 100 lifetimes over a library dispute.”

During the segment, Miller responded to earlier reports that special counsel Jack Smith filed a superseding indictment against Trump last week, which included new charges related to the willful retention of national defense information and obstruction. The prosecutors alleged that Trump and his aides were involved in instructing a staff member at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida to delete security camera footage deliberately. Smith alleged the action was taken with the intention of preventing the presentation of evidence to a federal grand jury.

Miller also responded to House Republicans’ mounting evidence of alleged corruption and bribery involving President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden, and foreign nationals.

All of the answers that we could ever need til the end of time, that would close the book on this forever, are inside that drug-addled brain of Hunter Biden. He is the star witness,” Miller told Watters.

“Now this isn’t hard for the DOJ. This is the kind of thing that people like James Comey could do in their sleep. You would go to Hunter and you would say, ‘We have you dead to rights on tax crimes, being an unregistered foreign agent, on sex crimes, on drug crimes, on gun crimes, on every crime under the sun, and we will give you an immunity deal, a non-prosecution agreement, under one condition: you tell us everything and you give us the instructions for every foreign bank account and every transaction involving your father Joe,'” Miller added.

An incredulous Watters laughed at that, replying, “Yeah but Stephen, what you’re missing is, why do that when you can charge Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago maintenance worker?”

“What is $50 million in bribery and foreign corruption and trading on America’s national security compared to a janitor in a library dispute with the national archives? I mean, good lord, Jesse,” Miller responded.

He noted further: “This is why the American people are absolutely just fed up. They are completely at their wits’ end when it comes to DOJ corruption. They are trying to put President Trump in jail for 100 lifetimes over a library dispute with the National Archives! But right in front of us is literally the corruption case of the century, of American history, and [all] it would take is working Hunter Biden for a couple of hours facing real jail time.”

For his part, however, Trump has denied Smith’s new allegations categorically and stated he ensured his legal team handed over any and all requested security footage unaltered.

“Mar-a-Lago security tapes were not deleted,” Trump wrote on TRUTH Social. “They were voluntarily handed over to the thugs, headed up by deranged Jack Smith. We did not even go to court to stop them from getting these tapes. I never told anybody to delete them. Prosecutorial fiction & misconduct! Election interference!”

In a subsequent post, he compared the current allegations against him to the “Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.”

“They knowingly accuse you of a fake crime, a crime that they actually make up, you fight these false charges hard, and they try and get you on ‘obstruction.’ We are dealing with sick and evil people!” he added.

In a Sunday interview on Fox News, Trump attorney Alina Habba dismissed any potential government claim that Trump ‘obstructed’ any investigation.

“What was the obstruction of justice? Because no tapes were deleted,” Habba said. “He turned them over. He cooperated as he always does. But they would like the American public to believe in these bogus indictments.”

“When he has his turn in court, and when we get to file our papers, you will see that every single video, every single surveillance tape that was requested, was turned over,” she noted further.

“If President Trump didn’t want something turned over, I assure you, that is something that could have been done. But he never would act like that. He is the most ethical American I know,” she said.
